had my first couple authentic ‘Russian garage band jam sessions’ this week. There are some garages on the outskirts of town, and an acquaintance is in possession of one. My closer friends (friends of this acquaintance) have moved a drum kit, a guitar + amp and a bass +single powered PA speaker there. We then attempt to play music. I usually make noisy jams, some of the other bros make ‘jammy jams’. I missed playing drums, although I’m still pretty terrible at them. maybe there will be some pictures of this jamming in the near future, I know they exist on Gosh’s (real name, short for something) camera. we also drink some beers.
It’s also nice to have an all-Russian bro-haven, where I can just chill and ‘be myself’ and ‘speak russian’ with authentic sibereeun/rushn frendz.
