You’re a year older in Korea

During a discussion with a Korean friend the other day, he informed me that he was 27 in Russia, but 28 in Korea. I asked him why, and he said that in Korea they count the amount of time that you are in the womb as part of your age. ‘it’s more accurate’ he said. I thought two things. One, yes, I guess in a way it is more accurate and two, I bet pro-life advocates would love to annex this tidbit of cultural information.
