Black Moth Super Rainbow - Gold Splatter
People always give me a funny look when they ask me what I’m listening to and I reply “Black Moth Super Rainbow”. I get even funnier looks when they ask what it sounds like, and I say something to the tune of “it sounds like robots decided to take acid and make music.”
These enigmatic folks from western Pennsylvania are one of my more favorite bands, and in celebration of their newest release “Eating Us” I decided it was best to post my (current) favorite track. Sailing vocoded vocals, smooth synths, and a relatively laid back vibe coat this guy in a smooth summery skin. All in all, it’s a great driving song.
