Thoughts on Caffeine Induced Insomnia/A Pretty...
Right now I am awake„ probably because I drank two cups of coffee and I usually drink zero cups. I am also hungry, and sort of want to walk to the grocery store to get something to eat but it’s about fifteen minutes away which is not too far but not close enough, so I keep being unsure if I want to commit half an hour to walking when I could be sleeping, but I’m not sleeping...

I've been thinking a lot about stray dogs
Stray dogs are foreign to me, are they dangerous? I’ve been taught that loose dogs are dangerous but these seem to be beautiful and somehow well behaved even though they have had no training. Sometimes you see them in small packs, walking about rummaging through the trash, trying to find something.
They always look like they are saying “I’m going to get me some of this and some of that” whenever...

Are you a tree or are you not a tree? cuz trees are supposed to be solid at least according to sociological associations with them.
I’m not a tree expert, but if I were, I probably wouldn’t know anymore than how to count rings but sometimes one is too many cuz the branches are the more interesting part.

My fuse blew today
So I don’t have any electricity in my apartment. The foyer smells like burning sneaker from the smokey fuse. I have to look up the word in Russian so I can buy a new one. Andre and Ilya came over and we ate chips with little candles for light. Was an interesting party atmosphere. It’s snowing outside.

I go to the banya a lot
Every week I go to the Russian bathhouse with friends. We get naked and then sit in an extremely hot and steamy room (at least 200 degree fahrenheit) where some (mostly older men) choose to beat themselves with branches from birch trees.
